Shahista Dhanji

Hello, I’m Shahista Dhanji, and I’m honoured to be the Head of Education here.

It’s a pleasure to welcome all our families to Maple Bloom! We’re proud to offer excellent facilities that bring learning to life and create a warm, inclusive community where every child can grow, thrive, and achieve their best.

With over 15 years in education, both in the UK and Tanzania, I have always been dedicated to children’s learning and well-being. My experience spans teaching the British, IB, and Cambridge Curriculums, where I’ve worked with fantastic teams of teachers and supported the growth of new schools. I’ve also trained educators in strategies that help students love learning.

My journey has strengthened my passion for teaching and supporting teachers in bringing their best to every classroom.

As Head of Education, I’m passionate about encouraging students to achieve by combining structured teaching with opportunities to explore and learn independently. I believe learning should be fun and engaging, as it helps children remember what they learn and enjoy their development journey.

In my role, I am committed to overseeing the quality of education and ensuring excellence across all areas of learning. By supporting our teachers and focusing on the needs of each student, we aim to provide the best outcomes for every child.
